It has been ages since I posted and I think I officially have the title of worlds worst blogger! but I will try and be a little bit more consistent with the posts ( I know I say that every month or so).
Everything from now is the fun stuff, all the decorating and bits and pieces but there is still sooo much to go as far as the interior, so I will post a couple of pics of what I have done so far but some are not total rooms as we have ordered furniture and are waiting on some new pieces to finish off the main living area.
On a rather exciting note, we had some professional photos taken of our Kitchen and laundry and these are being published this month in Country Home Ideas magazine! Its nice to think that it was nice enough to end up in a magazine as there were times that I doubted my design choices. Let me know what you think….
Wow beautiful interiors! Fab blog posts and I have followed your blog too…one day I would love to have a coastal home π

The kitchen is pretty amazing. Congrats. The kitchen buffet with the giant clock makes up for a great statement wall too!
Completely magazine worthy! It all looks so calm and lovely. I adore your colours throughout. Is all the cabinetry in the laundry from Ikea? Did you DIY? I’d love to know more.
Thank you for the lovely comments. All the cabinetry was custom made through a company called the Kitchen Factory, and they did the kitchen and all the bathrooms and laundry which are a two pack satin finish, we did get a lot of Ikea accessories though because the style fitted in exactly with what we wanted and the prices were great.
Ah sorry, I misunderstood your caption. I thought they looked extra good for IKEA!
It’s all looking so gorgeous! Bet you’re enjoying living there. We are midway through the our build and I’m already decision fatigued! Our trimdek roof looks fabulous though, despite the builders and roofers thinking we were mad – they’ve all had to admit they love it too. Looking forward to seeing your kitchen in the magazine – congratulations!
Congrats on being part way there! the last stretch is definitely the most stressful but you will love it once your in there. I agree with the trimdeck, it was the best decision we made and we get so many comments on it.
Do you have a move in date/month yet? or is it it to hard to say based on this lovely weather lately π
